Staying in Golfo Aranci, in the splendid setting of Cala Moresca and the island of Figarolo, one of the experiences that has been gaining more and more success in recent years is the kayak tour in the marvellous waters of the gulf. Two types of experiences are offered, in the morning and at sunset, in order to make the most of the lovely plays of light created in the sky during those times. The probability of a close encounter with dolphins is high as these beautiful animals are highly accustomed to the presence of humans and populate the area around the town.
One of the experiences most sought after by our guests is undoubtedly the mini-cruise in the archipelago of La Maddalena, probably the most picturesque area in terms of naturalistic sceneries. The emerald waters that embrace the pink granite formations in an infinite succession of colours and shapes always leave an impression on whoever gazes at them.
Sardinia, as well as for its breathtaking landscapes and unspoiled nature, is known for its food production, in particular that of dairy products. Being able to witness the processing at an upstanding business in the area allows you to further appreciate the work behind a millenary art such as that of the production of typical Sardinian cheeses, in a bucolic setting here. During the visit you will be able to taste and buy the products on offer.
The most important point of historical interest is undoubtedly Punta Marconi, on top of the hill that stands at the eastern end of the town, at the foot of which is the aforementioned Cala Moresca, from which the path that leads up to the site starts. Here you can visit the former lighthouse of Capo Figari, long since disused, from which Guglielmo Marconi experimented with radio communication with the station of Rocca di Papa (Rome) and which consequently earned the Italian scientist the recognition of the Nobel Prize and a place of honour in the history of this place.
